At a visit Keith and Gert paid InExeter earlier this year we found out that our ideas for the city centre very much match. Nicola Wheeler, who has set up with her team a new 5 year plan to improve the city centre, is in the process to develop ideas for Fore Street and Musgrave Row (outside the library). Exeter Civic Society was able to win over InExeter for an Active Travel England formal bid for planning North Street Improvements. InExeter leads a consortium with us and Fabrica Architecture. Nicola will talk about her plans for Exeter.
InExeter is the business improvement district (BID) for Exeter city centre. They are the organisation supporting and championing businesses, celebrating the city and delivering change. To mention just a few of their contributions to life in the city: Christmas Lights, Fore Street Flee, Flower Containers, Street Art, Exeter Maps and Wayfinding.
From all of this, it is clear that we are looking forward to an interesting talk with discussion afterwards – the right way to end the year on a high. Please come and join us.
Parking onsite is limited for disabled people only, telephone the Mint on 01392 279786 to reserve a space. This City Centre venue is well served by public transport and there are public car parks nearby.
