Naome Glanville has worked for the University since 2011. Based within a small Arts and Culture team, she looks after the University’s fine art collection, programmes art exhibitions, events and workshops. She liaises with artists, conservators and academics as well as other professional staff around the University. She also supports students by providing volunteering opportunities working with the fine art collection and has supervised internships within Arts and Culture, for MA Curation students.
She previously worked at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum (RAMM) for seven years in audience development, the exhibitions team and museum outreach, and she also proposed and curated the exhibition ‘A Symphony of Curves’ featuring the work of decorative plaster maker Geoffrey Preston, set within the context of the history of decorative plasterwork in Devon.
